What Charity Events is the Chicago Metro Chapter Supporting This Year?

For 2012, we will be holding 50/50 raffles and/or charity holes at various events throughout the season to benefit Rally for the Cure.

Who Can Attend a Chicago Metro Chapter Event?

Guests may participate in most events. You can tell which events allow guests by the separate price for participation. The only event that does not have a higher guest fee is the Member/Guest event which is an opportunity for potential members to experience EWGA golf.

How Can I Find a Substitute if I Can't Attend an Event I Paid For?

Use the Sub or Golf Partner Message Board to get a message out to your chapter members that you need a substitute. The substitute is responsible for reimbursing you for the cost of the event that she is playing for you (i.e., greens fee and cart rental if applicable). Event payments are non-refundable within four weeks of the event.

Do I Need a Handicap to Play in an Event?

It differs from event to event - so read the event description for the details. It is recommended that you keep a current handicap index in any case, as you may want to participate in those events requiring one. For more information on getting a handicap, see All About Handicaps.
